In an important dairy in northern Italy, a pumping unit has been successfully applied for the transport of curd from the coagulation tanks up to the molding planes.

The project was born from the customer's need to review the spaces and the layout of the coagulation and molding department, going to lower the height of the tanks. This aspect made it impossible to completely unload the tanks by gravity as was the case up until then: a delicate procedure since it helped to preserve the floccules while keeping the organoleptic qualities of the cheese.

The pumping unit supplied, thanks to hydraulics tailored to the process and a correct setting of the rotation speed, is able to preserve the quality of the floccules intact, in full compliance with the standards set by the customer, and speeding up the curd unloading phase, helping the company in its process of continuos technological growth.
